The New Game from the Stanley Parable is Out Today (and it’s free)

Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and the Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist, the new game from William Pugh, has been released for free today on Steam.  The characters are voiced by comedian Simon Amstell and the voice of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland.

Demon’s Souls Coming to PS4??

From Software tweeted a cryptic picture today. The picture showed the PS3 edition of Demon’s Souls along with Bloodborne and Bloodborne DLC The Old Hunters. It could just be symbolizing the spiritual succession of From Software games and the connection between the two games. Or it could be hunting at a PS4 port! What was the last game you beat without using a walkthrough?

In the age of the Internet, it’s impossible to truly game alone. If you’re ever stuck on a puzzle or a particularly hard boss, IGN or YouTube is there for you.

Walkthroughs and wikis are so popular we’re not even aware how much we use them as a crutch. Why are we willingly eliminating the challenge of games? Isn’t overcoming the challenge part of the joy of playing?
