If I wanted it, you’d already be dead.
The Man of Steel faces off against The Dark Knight in a new clip from DC’s upcoming film Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. The clip was first shown Sunday on Jimmy Kimmel’s post-Oscars show. The action sequence shows Superman demolishing Batman. He throws him through a building and reminds him that he could absolutely kill Batman if he so desired. The clip was also vintage Snyder, as the environment was dark, gritty, and gray. DC looks to be doubling down on the dark and gritty superhero film. The clip ends with Superman easily catching a large projectile that Batman shoots at him.
Ben Affleck, who portrays Bruce Wayne, appeared on the show to promote the upcoming film. He shared a hilarious “deleted scene” featuring Jimmy Kimmel as well as Henry Cavill, who portrays Superman, Jesse Eisenberg, who portrays Lex Luthor, and a surprising guest appearance.
Batman vs Superman premieres March 25th and is directed by Zach Synder. The film also starts Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, Lawrence Fishburne, Diane Lane, and Amy Adams.
